Application of Corpus in Special English Teaching——Taking English Teaching in Construction Engineering as an Example

语料库技术的发展为专门用途英语教学提供了系统丰富的语言素材和教学手段。本文通过对建筑工程英语语料库的设计研发、基于语料库的建筑工程英语教学平台建设、建筑工程英语教学模式研究三个方面,研究专门用途英语语料库如何促进教师教学和学生学习,从而激发学生热情,提高教学效果。

The development of corpus technology provides a systematic and rich language material and teaching means for specialized English teaching. Through the design and development of specialized corpus of English for Building and Construction Engineer, the construction of its teaching platform based on corpus, and its teaching mode, this paper studies how specialized English corpus promotes teachers’ teaching and students’ learning, so as to improve teaching efficiency and stimulate students’ enthusiasm.
