The transportation economy occupies a dominant position in the development of the national economy. Therefore, government departments should pay attention to the development process of the transportation economy. With the continuous advancement of "Internet+" technology, the development scale of the traditional transportation industry can no longer meet the actual economic development needs,which requires relevant departments to reform and innovate the transportation economic development model on the basis of "Internet + " technology, and establish a new development model that meets the development needs of the times. This article mainly elaborates the value and advantages of using "Internet + " technology in the development of transportation economy, and puts forward specific application countermeasures, aiming to promote the healthy and stable development of transportation economy.
