Competitiveness,Complementarity and Trade Potential of China-EU Bilateral Trade

在分析中国与欧盟贸易现状的基础上,运用贸易竞争力和贸易结合度指数分析,发现中国与欧盟间贸易紧密度呈现下降的趋势,贸易竞争性较低。通过贸易引力模型实证测算中欧双边贸易发展潜力,发现双边贸易发展潜力趋近于贸易“饱和”。建议强化双边政治互信,开启中欧自贸区谈判,多渠道深化双边贸易合作深度;加快国内改革进程,扩大对外开放的领域;积极创造条件,深入推进投资便利化,加快实施“走出去”战略。

This paper analyzes the current trade situation between China and EU and the analysis of trade competitiveness and trade integration index. It is found that the trade between China and EU shows a declining trend and the trade competitiveness is low. Though the empirical measurement,the development potential of China-EU bilateral trade is found which is close to the "saturation".Suggestions include strengthening the mutual trust in the bilateral politics, opening negotiations on the China-EU Free Trade Area, deepening the depth of cooperation in the bilateral trade through various channels, speeding up the domestic reform process and expanding the areas of opening up to the outside world. Conditions to further promote investment facilitation should be actively cultivated, thus to further advance the investment facilitation, then accelerate the implementation of the "Going Out" policy.
