The Life Story of the Famous Doctor Mkha Lo and His Contribution to Tibetan Medicine

著名藏医大师卡洛诞生在果洛州甘德县一牧民家庭,从小接受良好的院校教育,对藏文和汉文都有较深的造诣。特别是师从堪藏藏医大师和杰•香萨仁波切等众多著名藏医大师,系统地学习灌顶秘诀及《四部医典》《贡智临床札记》《秘诀补遗》等众多藏医经典,对藏医基本理论和实践融会贯通、心领神会。1983年应邀至西宁,从事青海藏医学院的筹建、藏医教材的编写及临床诊治工作,并为各地慕名前来的求学者进行《贡智临床札记》等藏医经典理论和实践的教学和传承工作。

Mkha Lo,a famous Tibetan medical master,was born in a herdsman's fam ily in Gande County,Golok Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province.He has received both modern school education,and has mastered a good knowledge in both Tibetan and Chinese language.In particular,he learned from many famous Tibetan medical masters,such as Shing Bza Rinpoche,and learned the theory and practice of many Tibetan medical classics system atically.In 1983,he was invited to Xining,where he was engaged in the preparation of the founding of Qinghai Tibetan Medical College,the compilation of Tibetan medical teaching materials and clinical diagnosis and treatment.He also taught and passed on the classical theory and practice of Tibetan medicine to many students.
