Tracing Source of Goiter

目的通过对古籍文献的查阅,了解古代医家对瘿病的认识,通过了解历代医家的思维、见解和临证经验,为现今中医药防治瘿病提供启示和指导。方法运用古籍典藏数据库,并到图书馆查阅相关古籍的方法,整理出符合分析的20部中医古籍进行资料汇总、综述分析,得出结论。结果对于瘿病病名,虽有不同的名称,但总可归为瘿病一名。对于病因病机,认为与地理环境、饮食水土及情志因素密切相关,其发病与五脏皆有关,但与肝的关系尤为密切,病机不外本虚标实,病理因素为气滞、痰凝、血瘀互结所致。通常将瘿病划分为五瘿进行论治,治疗以内服、外敷,配合针灸治疗为主,不十分推崇"割瘿法"。结论查阅古籍文献,了解历代医家的思维、见解和临证经验,对于我们更加全面地认识疾病、指导治疗具有重要的参考价值。

Objective Through the review of ancient books,we can understand the ancient doctors’understanding of goiter,and provide inspiration and guidance for the prevention and treatment of goiter by Chinese medicine practitioners through understanding the thinking,insights and clinical experience of the past doctors.Methods Using the database of ancient books collection and inspecting the relevant ancient books,we sorted out 20 ancient books that met the analysis,summarized the data,and made the conclusions.Results Although there are different names for goiter,they can always be classified as the goiter disease.It is considered to be closely related to the geographical environment,diet,soil and emotion factors.The pathogenesis of this disease is root deficiency and excess in superficislity and the pathological factors are caused by Qi stagnation,phlegm and blood stasis.Goiter is usually divided into five types.The treatment is mainly oral or external treatment,combined with acupuncture without highly respecting the cutting method.Conclusion Reviewing the ancient books and understanding the thinking,insights and clinical experience of the physicians over the ages has important reference value for us to understand the disease more comprehensively and guide the treatment.
