摘要
傅统先是我国现代著名哲学家、教育学家、教育哲学学科重要奠基人。他主张运用哲学的观点研究教育问题,他认为哲学是思想、教育是行为,两者是整个生活的两个方面。在追问哲学与教育的关系、教育哲学的哲学问题和教育问题、教育哲学研究方法等过程中,奠基了以哲学研究教育问题的中国教育哲学研究范式。他是一位学贯中西的大学者,对杜威学说、皮亚杰学说具有独到见解,为西方教育哲学中国化探索作出了重要的贡献。他在教育领域作出的卓越成绩,离不开其在求学和治学过程中坚定的以教育改造中国的教育理想、扎根于教育实践的行动,更离不开其为中国教育事业奋斗终身信念的支撑。
Foo Thoong-sien,a famous philosopher and educationist in modern China,is the important founder of educational philosophy.He held the view that philosophy is thought and education is behavior,and they are two aspects of the whole life.In the process of inquiring into the relationship between philosophy and education,the philosophical and educational problems in educational philosophy,and the research methods of educational philosophy,he initiated the research paradigm of studying education through philosophy in Chinese educational philosophy.He is a great scholar who has made great contributions to the exploration of the Sinicization of Western educational philosophy by his unique views on Dewey’s theory and Jean Piaget’s theory.His outstanding achievements in the field of educational philosophy can be ascribed to his ideals of transforming China through education and his action rooted in educational practice,and all the more,to the support of his lifelong belief in the struggle for the cause of China’s education.
