On Discussion on the Annotations of Du Fu’s Poems and Further Discussion on the Annotations of Du Fu’s Poems by XU Ren-fu

徐仁甫先生的《杜诗注解商榷》及《杜诗注解商榷续编》两书,对于前代及当下注家的部分杜诗注解做了纠正,全书精义纷呈,在杜诗虚词的解释上尤为得力。事实上,这两书已经成为当代研究和阅读杜诗的重要参考。但笔者在通读全书的过程中,发现两书的部分商榷结论还存在问题,而致误的原因则有误解词义、随意破字、割裂而解、未作详考、穿凿牵强等,本文即针对这些结论进行再商榷。

The two books,namely Discussion on the Annotations of Du Fu’s Poems and Further Discussion on the Annotations of Du Fu’s Poems by XU Ren-fu,have corrected some of the annotations of Du’s poems from the previous years.The books excel at offering explanations,especially in the interpretation of function words in Du Fu’s poems.In fact,they have become important references for contemporary research and reading of Du’s poems.However,in the process of reading them,the author finds that some of the discussions are still questionable,which may due to the misunderstanding of the meaning of the words,the divided interpretation of the text,the cursory examination of the facts,
