A Study of Cai Yong Being Exiled to Shuofang

流放朔方是蔡邕一生中的一件大事,程璜等人的飞章诬陷不过是借口,上书自陈时惹怒龙颜才是其获罪的真正原因。因卢植求情,蔡邕方免于死,举家被流放朔方。蔡邕于光和二年五月左右流放朔方,光和三年正月遇赦归来,前后共九个月。其时朔方郡早已名存实亡,故蔡邕并未至朔方郡,而是居于五原郡安阳县。遇赦归来后,灵帝余怨未息,故蔡邕未获任用。

Be exiled to Shuofang is a great event in Cai Yong's life.The real reason,which caused Cai Yong to be exiled to Shuofang County,was that he offended Emperor Ling,but the charge was framed by Cheng Huang.Thanks to Lu Zhi’s help,Cai Yong escaped death and was exiled to Shuofang County.Cai Yong was exiled to Shuofang County in the May of the second year of Guang He of Emperor Ling.Thanks to Lu Qing's help,Cai Yong could return from Shuofang County,where he lived for nine months,in the January of the third year of Guang He of Emperor Ling.Because Shuofang County existed in name,so Cai Ying lived in Anyang County of Wuyuan Shire,not in Shuofang County.Cai Yong was not appointed,for Emperor Ling did not forgive him due to residual resentment.
