词汇广度在雅思听力理解中的角色研究

A Study in the Correlation between the Breadth of Vocabulary Knowledge and IELTS Listening Comprehension Ability

摘要 以高职院校中外合作办学项目的学生为例,探究词汇广度在雅思听力理解中的作用。分析雅思听力测试中的词汇频率概貌,发现雅思听力文本中次高频1 000词族和学术词汇两组词汇在雅思听力文本中覆盖率相近。在两组词汇中,考生扩大次高频1 000词族的词汇广度对提高雅思听力理解能力的效果更显著。
