As a high-performance engineering plastic,polyimide plays an important role in microelectronics field.This paper mainly introduces the application of polyimide in microelectronics field,and sets forth in terms of the performances of polyimide,major manufacturers and representative products of polyimide at home and abroad,and typical applications of polyimide in the field of microelectronics.This paper emphasizes on the research progress of polyimide composite,and the development trend of polyimide in microelectronics field is also forecasted.
