摘要
本文是作者对英国伦敦大学玛丽女王学院比较文学教授加林.季哈诺夫就巴赫金、什克洛夫斯基、高尔基与世界文学所作的访谈录。首先,访谈阐述了怎样的世界主义真正让巴赫金产生兴趣,罗列了巴赫金参与世界文学而遭到的指责,介绍了巴赫金摆脱欧洲中心主义所采用的方式。其次,访谈挖掘了导致什克洛夫斯基陌生化概念兴起的关键成因,分析了十月革命在什克洛夫斯基的演变中发挥的作用,介绍了什克洛夫斯基关于世界文学的回忆录。再次,访谈梳理了高尔基“世界文学”项目的想法与核心悖论,阐述了什克洛夫斯基在高尔基项目上的立场,分析了世界文学的盎格鲁-撒克逊话语最后,访谈剖析了世界文学欧洲中心主义话语的问题,对比了维谢洛夫斯基“普世文学”与“世界文学”之间的差异。
This is an interview on Bakhtin,Shklovsky,Gorky and world literature with Galin Tihanov,Professor of Comparative Literature at Queen Mary University of London,conducted by Zhang Cha,doctoral candidate of Comparative Literature and World Literature at Sichuan University and Professor of Anglo-American Literature at Sichuan Normal University.Firstly,the interview expounds what understanding of world literature really interests Bakhtin,how Mikhail Bakhtin's engagement with world literature holds a distinctly non-Eurocentric and non-philological charge,and by what means Bakhtin performs a flight away from Eurocentrism.Secondly,the interview explores a number of sources in various scholarly and philosophical traditions for the crucial formative factor contributing to the rise of the concept of estrangement in Shklovsky,discusses the role the October Revolution plays in Shklovsky's evolution after 1917,and analyses Shklovsky's memoir about world literature.Thirdly,the interview explains the idea and paradox at the heart of Gorky’s project“World Literature”,talks about Shklovsky’s stance on Gorky's project,and probes into the current Anglo-Saxon discourse of world literature.Lastly,the interview analyses the Eurocentric discourse of world literature,and distinguishes Veselovsky's“universal literature”from“world literature”.
