Technical Directors,CEO Openness and Corporate Innovation Sustainability—An Empirical Research Based on Chinese High-tech Listed Company

本文通过分析CEO开放性将如何影响技术董事与创新可持续性之间的关系,探讨董事会和CEO的关系将如何影响企业的战略决策和创新活动,发现了以下研究结论。技术董事能够为企业的创新战略带来方向指导和资源支持,提升了企业创新战略的可行性和成功率,有效促进了企业的创新可持续性。同时,CEO开放性越高,有利于营造鼓励创新和变革的企业文化氛围,技术董事对创新绩效和创新可持续性的正向影响越大。CEO持有公司股权时,技术董事对创新投入和创新绩效的正向影响更大。而在两职合一的情况下,技术董事对创新绩效的促进作用会削弱。最后提出了相应的政策建议。

This paper examines the impact of CEO openness on the relationship between technical directors and corporate innovation sustainability,and investigate how the relationship between board and CEO impact the corporate strategy decision and the innovation activities.Technical directors can provide direction guidance and resource support to the innovation strategy of the company,and enhance the feasibility and success rate of the innovation strategy,promote the company’s innovation investment,enhance the company’s innovation performance,and effectively promote innovation sustainability.At the same time,when the level of CEO openness is high,it is beneficial to promote the corporate culture that encourages innovation and business change,and the positive impact of technical directors on innovation performance and innovation sustainability will be strengthened.When a CEO holds company equity,technology directors have greater positive impact on innovation investment and innovation performance.In the case of CEO duality,the promotion of innovation performance by technical directors will be weakened.Finally,the corresponding policy recommendations are put.
