Affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the European economy contracted in the first half of 2020,and a number of economic data hit historical lows.In order to support people’s livelihood and support the economy, the European Central Bank, the European Union and its member states acted swiftly and issued a series of bail-out measures to avoid the outbreak of the economic and financial crisis. As the pandemic gradually stabilizes, the European economy enter the post-pandemic period, and it will still face many challenges and risks. It is difficult to fundamentally reverse the situation of recession during the year. The key to whether the European economy can get out of the future is whether the EU can successfully achieve economic and strategic transformation, effectively maintain the global trading system under multilateralism, and whether China-EU economic and trade cooperation can be further deepened.
