This investigation aim to explore the effects of Recreational Soccer(RS)on bone mineral density and bone mineral content in different body parts of ordinary participants, and to compare the effects of RS and other sports on bone mineral density and bone mineral content so that a best RS training program that produces the best bone stimulation can be developed.PubMed,Web of Science,MEDLINE,and CNKI databases were searched, investigations with randomized controlled trial(RTC)of the effects of RS on bone mineral density in the general population were collected. The Cochrane bias risk assessment tool was used to evaluate the methodological quality and publication bias of the included literature, the data were statistically processed and tested by software Review Manager 5.3.A total of 12 articles were included, and the total quality of the included literature was moderately superior. The total sample size was 586.RS can produce significant improvement on bone strength of lower limb, the effects of RS on bone mineral density is similar to dance, better than medium-intensity continuous running, significantly better than resistance training and swimming;short term RS training(24-48 weeks, above 40 min every time and 2~3 times a week)better than other sport training program.
