Simulation analysis of starlink coverage performance in a hotspot area

摘要 星链争夺地球低轨道和频谱资源的目的明显,尤其是在局部地区的军事运用,具有极大军事意义。通过STK仿真软件,建立目前已发射7批次在轨(截至2020年4月底)的星链卫星星座,表征其在全球范围以及某热点地区的运行态势,重点针对星链对该地区提供网络服务的时间特性,选取合适的覆盖对象及其品质因数,计算和分析其覆盖性能以及随发射批次卫星数量增多的覆盖性能变化情况,为后续提出应对策略提供基础性数据支撑。 The purpose of US starlink competing for the earth’s low orbit and spectrum resources is obvi⁃ous,especially for military applications in local areas,which has great military significance.Through STK simulation software,7 batches of satellite constellations have been established which have been launched in orbit(as of the end of April 2020)and their operating situation also have been characterized on a global scale and specially in a hotspot area.Time characteristics,select suitable coverage asserts and their figure of merits,calculate and analyze their coverage performance and changes in coverage performance as the number of satellites launched increases,and provide basic data support for subsequent response strategies.
