Content Value Based Video Data Compression Method for Fishery Production Management

针对海洋渔业生产管理视频文件大、信息稀疏所造成的存储空间浪费等问题,提出了基于内容价值的海洋渔业生产管理视频数据压缩方法,该方法用YOLOv4模型对海洋渔业生产管理视频数据的内容价值进行分析,提取对生产管理有价值的内容,采用MPEG-4编码格式对提取后的数据进行视频编码压缩。为了验证方法的有效性,设计了相关实验,实验结果表明:在基本不丢失原有视频内容价值的基础上,所提出的方法可以节约70%的存储空间。

Due to sparse information and video file size,the fishery production management need large storage space.To reduce the waste o f storage space,a video data compression method for fishery production management based on content value is proposed.In this paper,YOLOv4 model is used to analyze the content value o f fishery production management video and extract the related valuable content.MPEG-4 encoding format is used to compress the extracted data.To verify the effectiveness o f the method,relevant simulation experiments are designed.Experimental results show that the proposed method can save 70% storage space without losing the original video content value.
