Objective To investigate the effect of Azithromycin combined with cephalosporins in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) and its pharmaceutical analysis. Methods According to the average time of admission, 82 patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease received in our hospital from January 2018 to December 2018 were divided into 41 cases in each group. The control group received a single cephalosporin treatment, while the research group received Azithromycin combined with cephalosporin treatment. The therapeutic effect of each group was analyzed. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 92.68% and that of the control group was 75.61%. The study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). In PEF and FEV1/FVC, the study group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion Azithromycin combined with cephalosporins is effective in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which can not only alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients, but also help to improve pulmonary function.
