College students in the new era are the builders and successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,carrying the important mission of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This paper analyzes comprehensively the ideological characteristics of college students in the new era and grasps accurately the characteristics and laws of college students'growth and success,integrates ideological and political education into the whole process of talent training,and puts forward the methods and paths to promote the reform of ideological and political education system.
