This paper briefly introduces the development status of the photovoltaic industry in Jiangsu Province and the necessity of building the Jiangsu Province key laboratory of photovoltaic science and technology.The innovative measures taken by Jiangsu Province key laboratory of photovoltaic science and technology on the operating management,staff engagement system,management and usage of instruments were discussed.This article focused on the remarkable achievements of the key laboratory on the construction of research staff,talent cultivation,discipline construction,and the important production of scientific research.It promoted the development of photovoltaic industry in Jiangsu Province and provided a reference for the construction of similar laboratories in China.
