Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of suspension exercise therapy on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Methods A total of 78 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy who were treated in the Third People’s Hospital of Heze from July 2018 to October 2019 were selected. The selected patients were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 39 cases in each group.Control group was treated by conventional massage, observation group was treated by suspension exercise therapy, the clinical curative effect after treatment and the visual analogue scale(VAS)score, cervical dysfunction index(NDI),the change of cervical spondylosis clinical evaluation scale(CASCS)score before and after the treatment were compared. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).VAS score and NDI score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Symptoms,abilities,signs and total scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusions Suspension exercise therapy can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with radiculopathic cervical spondylotic disease, reduce the degree of pain and relieve the cervical dysfunction.
