Last year was huge for China's animation industry.The animated film,White Snake,earned more than 450 million yuan(US$64 million)in box office revenues in 2019.Ne Zha,another animated film,debuted in the summer of 2019,and that film smashed box office records by grossing more than 5 billion yuan(US$714 million).In terms of box office receipts,Ne Zha is the second-highest grossing film ever in the Chinese mainland.
