Discussion on the effects and experiences of Sponge city pilot construction in Beijing

北京是全国第二批海绵城市试点城市,通州区作为试点区,始终坚持问题和目标导向,制定了系统的推进方案,在顶层设计、体制机制、工程建设、标准规范、资金使用、公众参与和运作模式等方面不断探索,取得了一定的建设成效,总结了建设经验,可为北京市海绵城市建设提供参考。

Beijing is the second batch of pilot cities of Sponge city in China. As a pilot area, theguidance of problems and objectives has consistently been adhered to in Tongzhou District and thesystematic scheme of promotion was formulated. To promote the pilot construction of Sponge city, thetop-level design, system and mechanism, engineering construction, standards and specifications, funduse, public participation and operation mode were constantly explored and certain construction resultshave been obtained. These construction experiences could provide an important reference for theconstruction of Beijing Sponge city.
