摘要
译者培养的核心应该是译者能力的培养。当下学术界和译者培养机构对译者能力的把握主要集中在离文本较近的译者翻译能力,对译者离文本较远的涉及社会、政治、文化、意识形态和译者自身身份意识方面的能力关注不够。文章认为,从社会翻译学出发探索译者能力结构会有更全面的把握。鉴于此,文章首先探讨借鉴社会学理论完成社会翻译学基本概念和原理架构,接着在此框架下界定面向职场的译者能力和具体能力结构,以丰富翻译教学研究,重构译者能力培养模式。
Translator competence training is the core of translator training which comes to the fore currently as a key word with high frequency in translation studies.As regards its contents,however,the competence scope for academia and training institutions to cover is narrowly contained within orclose to textual competences,and the ones far from them with social and political significance are,to a large extent,ignored.The paper then argues that better understanding will be achieved if made of translator competence from the perspective of socio-translation studies.On this ground,the paper continues to f’irstly establish the conceptual framework of the studies,and then defines translator competence and its tentative detailed contents involved in translation industry to further the modes for translator training and translation studies.
