摘要
旅游文本作为"信息+感染"型的话语,当中含有丰富的评价资源,已引起众多学者的兴趣和关注。本文基于评价框架,以中西世界文化自然遗产旅游景点的官网介绍为例,运用UAM Corpus软件对比分析二者评价资源的分布情况及其使用偏向。为了妥善处理好国内旅游网页的评价资源,应采用省译、改写、转喻为义等翻译策略使译文更接近目标读者的心理期待和阅读习惯,从而提高译文的可读性。
As a hybrid of informative and appellative discourse,tourism text abounds with evaluative resources,which have drawn the interest and attention of many scholars.This paper,based on the Appraisal Framework,compares the configuration and preferences of appraisal resources in Chinese and Western World Cultural and Natural heritage webpages with the aid of UAM Corpus tool.To analyze the evaluative resources in the source text properly,such translation strategies as omission,adaptation and transition of metaphor to sense should be adopted so as to align the translated text with the expectation and the reading habits of the target readers,thereby improving its readability.
