摘要 语言是文化的载体,文化是语言承载的内容。对于任何语言类学科而言,在教学过程中都不可脱离文化,否则语言学习将成为无源之水,难以达到理想的效果。大学英语口语教学中,加强跨文化交际能力的培养,不论对于学生而言,亦或对于文化传播而言都是十分有利的。要实现这一点,就需要教师构建良好的跨文化教学体系,促进学生对跨文化知识的吸收,培养学生的跨文化意识,从而进一步提升学生英语语言的交际能力。本文围绕这方面内容进行分析与探究,总结大学英语口语教学中跨文化交际能力培养的重要性,并针对当前教学中面临的问题,提出一系列针对性的跨文化交际能力培养策略。 Language is the carrier of culture, while culture is expressed, embodied and symbolized by language. Culture plays an essential role in language teaching and learning. Without a good understanding of culture, language learning would be stagnant and hardly lead to desirable achievement outcomes. In college oral English teaching, it would facilitate students’ English learning to improve their intercultural communication competence, which in turn is beneficial to culture diffusion and exchange per se. This requires English teachers to adopt favorable teaching approaches systematically to facilitate students’ cross-cultural knowledge absorption and to increase their intercultural awareness so that their intercultural communication competence gets further improved. This article analyzes the importance and implications of fostering intercultural communication competence among college students in oral English teaching, and proposes a series of teaching strategies targeting current intercultural issues in college oral English teaching in China.
