On the CPC's Discipline Culture and Its Construction Strategy

党的纪律文化具有鲜明的严肃性、自觉性、人民性等基本特征,具有强大的“维护”“凝聚”“塑造”“约束”等功能。这种文化对于坚持全面从严治党,营造良好政治生态,保持党的先进性、纯洁性具有特殊地位和意义。新时代党的纪律文化建设应坚持以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导,按照新时代党的建设总要求,全面加强纪律精神文化、纪律制度文化和纪律行为文化建设,主要通过建立常态化纪律教育机制、完善党纪党规制度体系以及强化监督、执纪、问责等方略来实现。

The discipline culture of the CPC,distinctively characterized by its seriousness,self awareness and the people-oriented nature,has powerful functions for maintaining,uniting,shaping and restraining.It is of particular position and significance for comprehensively administering the Party strictly,cultivating good political ecology,and keeping the Party's advanced nature and purity.Its construction in the new era shall be guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,comprehensively strengthen the culture of the spirit,system and conduct of discipline according to the general requirements of the Party's construction in the new era,which is mainly realized by establishing a normalized discipline education mechanism,perfecting the system of the Party's discipline and regulations,along with strengthening supervision,discipline enforcement and accountability,among others.
