Evaluating the Competitiveness of Sports Tourism in JiangSu Province

摘要 为了推动江苏体育旅游产业发展,本文依据体育旅游产业特征,结合相关研究,按照经济基础、旅游产业、体育产业三个维度探测性确立24个指标因子,以此来作为体育旅游竞争力的评价指标。通过因子分析和主成分分析法,提炼出影响体育旅游竞争力的四项主因子,并由此计算出江苏13市各自的体育旅游竞争力,结合分值排序,从强、较强、中等、弱四个等级对江苏体育旅游产业进行分析并提出对策。 based on the characteristics of tourism industry and prior researches, in the context of JiangSu Province, the study develops 24 indicators of sports tourism competitiveness, which comprising the dimensions of economics foundation, tourism industry, and sports industry. Through the factor analysis and principal component analysis, the study finds four principal factors of sports tourism competitiveness, including regional economics and purchase power, sports tourism market competitiveness, sports tourism product competitiveness, and sports tourism society competitiveness. The study further calculates the sports tourism competiveness of 13 cities in JiangSu province. Based on their overall scores, the competitiveness of sports tourism in JiangSu province could be categorized into four groups: very strong, strong, moderate, and weak. Suggestions regarding future improvements in sports tourism competitiveness in JiangSu province are proposed at last.
