This paper first introduces the general situation of natural geography and social economy in Cangyuan county,and describes the current situation,practice and existing problems of natural forest protection in Cangyuan county.Finally,according to the spirit of the scheme of natural forest protection and restoration system issued by the general office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council,it puts forward suggestions for strengthening the comprehensive protection work after the prohibition of natural forest cutting in Cangyuan county.
