中国联通MEC边缘云架构与部署实践

MEC Edge Clouding Architecture and Deployment of China Unicom

MEC边缘云成为5G时代运营商面向2B业务转型的重要抓手,分析了MEC发展趋势和头部企业的布局,结合IETF的MEC构架及中国联通网络实际,引出了中国联通MEC的架构与部署模式,然后介绍了中国联通首张规模商用MEC网络的部署实践,并对MEC部署过程中需要考虑的共建共享、成本及安全等典型问题进行了分析,最后对5G MEC的发展提出了展望。

The MEC edge cloud has become the key driver of the 2B service transformation of the operators in 5G era.In this paper,it analyzes the MEC’s development trend and the layout of the leading companies.Combining the MEC’s architecture of IETF and the fact of Unicom network,China Unicom’s MEC architecture and deployment pattern are introduced.Then,the first large-scale commercial MEC network deployment practice is introduced,and the typical issues in MEC deployment are analyzed,such as the co-construction and sharing,cost and the safety.Finally,the prospects of 5G MEC’s development are also provided.
