Social Insurance and Residents’ Happiness--An Empirical Research Based on CGSS2015 Data

研究社会保险对于国民幸福感的影响,对于改进公共政策和提高国民幸福感具有重要的意义。文章利用CGSS2015年度调查数据,以我国医疗保险和养老保险作为主要研究对象,综合分析了两类项目对居民幸福感的影响,并通过估计边际效应来比较它们对国民幸福感影响差异,最后再结合影响的异质性进行了分类研究。研究结果表明,参加社会保险能够显著提升国民幸福感,医疗保险和养老保险均能提升国民幸福感,但医疗保险对幸福感的影响程度要高于养老保险。社会保险以及社会保险中的医疗保险和养老保险对国民幸福感的影响在城乡居民,东、中、西部地区以及不同收入群体之间存在显著差异。

Studying the impact of social insurance on residents’ happiness is of great significance for improving public policy and improving residents’ happiness.This paper makes use of CGSS2015 annual survey data,takes China’s medical insurance and pension insurance as the main research objects,comprehensively analyzes the impact of the two kinds of projects on residents’ happiness,and compares the difference of their impact on citizens’ happiness by estimating the marginal effect.Finally,it carries out classification research combined with the heterogeneity of the impact.The research results show that participation in social insurance can significantly improve people’s happiness,and medical insurance and pension insurance can both improve residents’ happiness,but medical insurance has a higher impact on residents’ happiness than pension insurance.The influence of social insurance,medical insurance and pension insurance in social insurance on people’s happiness is significantly different among urban and rural residents,eastern、central and western regions,and different income groups.
