The Impact of Transportation System on the Spatial Structure of Tourism:Review and Prospect

交通是旅游系统中不可或缺的要素,交通系统的发展与变革持续影响旅游空间结构的演变与重构。本文对相关文献进行系统性回顾,发现在影响方向及强度上,交通系统及其要素变动是否对旅游发展与旅游空间结构产生影响存在争议,并且所产生的影响方向与强度存在着区域尺度(国家、城市群和城市)上的差异;在影响路径及机制上,交通系统通过交通方式发展、交通技术革新及交通政策引导等不同方式塑造了特定的旅游空间结构。未来该领域研究可以从以下方面开展:从人本主义角度加强对旅游者空间行为研究,进一步关注特定群体出行研究;从目的地发展角度探索不同交通方式博弈所产生的影响及区域响应。

Transportation is an indispensable element in tourism system.The development and transformation of transportation system profoundly influence the evolution and reconstruction of the spatial structure of tourism.This paper systematically reviewed relevant researches from the perspectives of influence direction and mechanism and concluded that:on influence direction and intensity aspect,differences exist on whether transportation system and its element change have an impact on the development and spatial structure of tourism,and the directions and intensities of the influences varyon different spatial scales,such as countries,urban agglomerations,and cities;on influence path and mechanism aspect,the development of transportation mode,the innovation of transportation technology and the guidance of transportation policy shape specific tourist spatial structures in different ways and on different paths.The authors suggest that future studies in this field be conducted in the following angles:to strengthen the study of tourists’spatial behavior from the perspective of humanism,to focus more on travel research about specific group,and to explore the coupling effect of different transportation modes from the perspective of destination development and regional response.
