“跨文化思辨英语教学法”对大学英语教学的启示

The Enlightenment of "Cross-cultural Speculation English Teaching Method" to College English Teaching

“跨文化思辨英语教学法”(ICT Approach)最初针对英语专业教学提出,并在英语专业中实施推广,但本研究认为,“跨文化思辨英语教学法”同样可以应用于大学英语教学,一方面该教学法符合大学英语课程的定位、性质和特点,另一方面,从思辨能力和跨文化能力的概念内涵、该教学法对于大学英语与高中英语对接的意义,以及该教学法落地实施的可能性这三方面来说,“跨文化思辨英语教学法”能够使大学英语课堂充分发挥其“育人”的作用。

"Intercultural critical thinking approach"(ICT Approach)is targeted at English major teaching and has been carried out and spread.However,it is necessary to introduce the ICT Approach into the college English teaching.On the one hand,the approach is in line with the orientation,nature and characteristics of college English;on the other hand,from the aspects of the conception of critical thinking competence and intercultural competence,the significance of the approach for the close link between high school English and college English,and the feasibility of the approach,the ICT Approach should be effective for college English teaching to play its role of"educating people"to a greater extent.
