The reform of PE classroom teaching methods is the key to improving the quality of teaching and the effectiveness of classroom teaching.It is an important reflection of the professional ability of PE teachers.This research study explores the application of inquiry teaching in college football classroom teaching in the context of the new curriculum reform.It aims to make up for the shortcomings of traditional physical education,give play to students’ initiative,mobilize students’ enthusiasm,and improve students’ thinking ability.Allow students to use knowledge in competitions to improve their thinking skills.
