This paper introduces the important role and future prospects of internet-based military hospitals during the COVID-19 epidemic. Through discussion on the previous successful experience and advantages of internet-based hospital service system, this paper analyzes the risks and needs of patients’ visits to hospital during the epidemic and expounds that the internet-based hospital has great advantages in ensuring the safety of military officers and soldiers in hospital visits, shortening the time for medical treatment, improving the experience of medical treatment and providing consultation on epidemic prevention, etc.
