大学是传授高深学问的地方,一流大学的建设依靠高深知识的传授。许多人从高等教育哲学的角度思考,对于知识的理解有许多独到之处,认为大学中最有价值的知识当属自由知识,但自由知识的价值很多时候却被大学所忽视。大学知识的传授应从"人"出发,看到自由知识本身的巨大价值;自由知识是大学发展的根基,也是大学发展的活力源泉,人文知识在自由知识中有着独特的人文价值。所以应回归自由教育的传统,实现自由知识在大学保守与超越的融合,这对于大学自由学术基底的坚守与长远的发展具有重要意义。

Universities are places of imparting advanced knowledge,and the construction of first-class universities depends on the imparting of advanced knowledge.From the perspective of philosophy of higher education,scholars has many unique understandings of knowledge.He believes that the most valuable knowledge in universities is free knowledge,but the value of free knowledge is often ignored by universities.The imparting of university knowledge should start from"human"and see the great value of free knowledge itself.Liberal knowledge is the foundation of the development and of the university and the source of its vitality.Humanistic knowledge has its unique humanistic value in liberal knowledge.therefore,we should return to the tradition of free education and realize the integration of conservative and transcendent free knowledge in universities,which is of great significance to the maintainment and long-term development of the university's free academic base.
