董幼祺教授在董氏儿科"推理论病,推理论治"的思想指导下,精研古籍,并不断在临床实践中加以验证与总结,文章介绍了董教授在临证中运用五脏证治法治疗小儿多种疾病,临床上常能取得显著的疗效。如用清热泻肺法治疗肺热气逆之咳嗽,用健脾生津法治疗脾气阴虚之泄泻,用培土生金法治疗土不生金之咳嗽,用制木安金法治疗肝木侮金之咳嗽,用温土敛火法治疗脾肾阳虚之口疮等。

Under the principle of‘inference on disease,inference on treatment’in DONGs’pediatrics,professor DONG You-qi perseveres in testing and summarizing his research in ancient literature in contemporary clinical praxis.His application of five viscera syndrome and treatment against diverse diseases in pediatrics has achieved significant therapeutic effect.For example,the method of clearing heat and reducing lung heat is used to treat the cough of adverse qi of lung;the method of strengthening spleen and nourishing metal is used to treat the diarrhea of spleen qi yin deficiency;the method of cultivating soil and producing metal is used to treat the cough of soil and not producing metal;the method of making wood and metal is used to treat the cough of liver wood counter-restricting metal;and the method of warming earth and preserving fire is used to treat the mouth sore of spleen and kidney yang deficiency.
