Brief discussion on gold needle removing obstruction method in Zhenjiu Dacheng

金针拨障术这一针灸学的精湛技艺,在我国已有上千年的历史,历代典籍均有论述。明代医家杨继洲在《针灸大成》中3次论述金针拨障术,尤其是在《经外奇穴》篇"睛中"穴下,记载了用内障羊眼实验来学习金针拨障术的方法,在400多年前开实验针灸之先河。

The gold needle removing obstruction method is the consummate skill of acupuncture and moxibustion which has been used in our country for thousands of years.It has been discussion in many historical records.YANG Ji-zhou,a physician from the Ming dynasty,discussed this method in Zhenjiu Dacheng three times,especially in the chapter Extra Point,where learning this method by using the cataract shee’s eye was recorded.The record indicated that pioneering experiment of acupuncture was initiated more than 400 years ago.
