In this paper,the developments of the information system architecture in Shanxi Library are compared among its three generations.Furthermore,three essential elements and typical modes of a Smart Library information system are elaborated.Finally,the path to build a Smart Library information system in Shanxi Library is explored,and the expectations are made.
