The three-year guerrilla warfare in the base of Southwest Zhejiang has an extremely important position in Su Yu's military career.During the three years,his thought on guerrilla warfare had been put on trails,enriched,and sublimed to perfection.The thought later exerted significant influence the anti-Japanese wars in southern Jiangsu,northern Jiangsu and central Jiangsu in which he served as a principal leader,and laid a solid foundation for his brilliant military accomplishment in the liberation war.His thought on guerrilla warfare doesn't based on the ideas of those higher-up or contained in books.Instead,his wartime strategies and tactics are solidly based on the reality.The thought still has important methodological and practical significance today.
