In recent years,technology-enabled insurance intermediaries have become a major trend in the development of the insurance industry.Blockchain technology is the focus of contemporary technology development.Its advantages of decentralization,data storage,and smart contracts can ensure transaction in the Internet environment.Convenient and safe,favored by insurance intermediaries.The article analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the application of"blockchain+insurance intermediary"technology from the aspects of market structure,insurance technology,and policy support.Combining the development process and current status of insurance intermediaries,it elaborated that insurance intermediaries have low awareness of transformation and lack of innovation in marketing models,immature application of blockchain technology,and it proposed to strengthen cooperation with Internet platforms and insurance companies,customized scenario-based service models,and improve blockchain technology to promote the development of insurance intermediaries.
