中英颜色词认知差异与跨文化交际研究

An Analysis of the Cognitive Differences Between Chinese and English Color Words and Their Influence on Cross-cultural Communication

颜色词在跨文化交际中应用广泛,中英颜色词的认知差异具有鲜明而强烈的民族文化特征,而正确运用颜色词会对跨文化交际产生正面影响。基于此,通过探析中英颜色词认知差异产生的原因及对跨文化交际的影响,提出跨文化交际中应对中英颜色词认知差异的策略:建立颜色词翻译语料库;了解文化差异,正确掌握中英颜色词;把握语境,熟练运用颜色词;与时俱进,注意把握颜色词的内涵变化。

Color words are widely used in cross-cultural communication.The cognitive differences between Chinese and English color words have distinct and strong national cultural characteristics,and the correct use of color words will have a positive effect on cross-cultural communication.Through the analysis of the causes of the cognitive differences between Chinese and English color words and their influence on cross-cultural communication,this paper puts forward the strategies to deal with the cognitive differences between Chinese and English color words in cross-cultural communication:to establish the color words translation corpus;to understand the cultural differences and correctly grasp the color words in Chinese and English;to grasp the context and skillfully use the color words;to keep pace with the times and pay attention to the connotation changes of color words.
