Online course has become an important direction and trend of the ideological and political theory course teaching reform in college.Basic Principle of Marxism online course construction is consistent with the ideological and cognitive characteristics of college students in internet+era,and it is in accordance with the teaching goal of popularization of Marxism which has been recognized by teachers,students and the society and has achieved good results.However,it is confronted with a series of problems and challenges.There is a large room for efforts that more colleges and teachers are required to participate in.It is necessary to conduct further research and exploration in enhancing value guidance,improving resource quality,strengthening process management and emphasizing teaching with scientific research,so as to continuously improve the teaching quality of the course and create a“golden course”of ideological and political theory which students genuinely enjoy and benefit from for life,and meet the needs and expectations of students’growth and development.
