Addressing the World Problems from Chinese Experience--On the Development of Contemporary Chinese Philosophy

中国哲学需要发展,而当代中国哲学的构建和发展需要厘清三个基本问题:一是当代中国哲学的构建所面向的是中国的问题还是世界性的问题?二是当代中国哲学的构建是一个纯粹的理论问题还是一个包含实践经验在内的理论问题?三是当代中国哲学的构建是一个文化传承问题还是一个理论创新问题?对此综合思考来看,回答和解决中国哲学的构建和发展问题,需要立足中国、面向世界、着眼未来,根本维度就是从中国经验出发做世界性问题。只有这样,才符合哲学追求普遍性的本性和具有立足于中国的特性。

Chinese philosophy needs development.Three basic issues need to be clarified in order to establish and develop contemporary Chinese philosophy:First,whether contemporary Chinese philosophy aims to address China’s problems or the world problems?Second,is the establishment of contemporary Chinese philosophy a pure theoretical issue or the one with practical experience?Third,is the establishment of contemporary Chinese philosophy an issue of cultural heritage or theoretical innovation?From comprehensive points of view,to establish and develop contemporary Chinese philosophy,it requires us to base ourselves on China’s realities,face the world and focus on the future.The fundamental dimension is to address the world problems with Chinese experience.This conforms to the nature of philosophy to pursue universality and the characteristic of basing on China’s realities.
