Interpreting the Latest Development of Altmetrics Research from ISSI 2019 Conference

[目的/意义]替代计量学构成了信息计量学领域新的子方向和热点研究主题,通过总结和归纳替代计量学的最新研究进展,为后续研究提供参考。[方法/过程]利用2019年国际科学计量学与信息计量学会议替代计量学相关文献,结合前期知识,构建评述逻辑框架,并分析各个子方向的研究进展。[结果/结论]替代计量数据基本属性的研究不断深化,关于指标数理性质的研究还有待加强;替代计量指标的情境数据受到空前重视,并且将继续得到挖掘以深刻揭示替代计量指标的内涵;替代计量指标的影响因素得到广泛研究,与传统引文指标相比既有相同之处也呈现出不同的特点;替代计量学的应用探索渗透到各个层面,被纳入部分国家的科技评估实践,但是离大面积应用尚存一定距离。[局限]分析结果主要是基于最新一届ISSI会议,体现了前沿性,但是在系统性上存在不足。

[Purpose/significance]Altmetrics has become a new sub-area and hot research topic of informetrics,this paper is aimed to summarize and conclude the latest development of altmetrics and provide reference for the future study.[Method/process]Publications related to altmetrics in the proceedings of international society of scientometrics and informetrics conference in 2019 are combined with previous knowledge to construct the review structure.Development of each research area of altmetrics is analyzed in detail.[Result/conclusion]Studies about the basic characteristics of altmetrics data are developing fast,but more studies are needed to explore the mathematic nature of altmetrics data;context data of altmetrics data are highly emphasized and will be continuously mined to reveal the meaning of altmetrtics indicators;influencing factors of altmetrics indicators are widely studied,and presented similar as well as different characteristics compared with traditional citation indicators;applications of altmetrics are explored in various levels and adopted by several countries in the national practice of scientific assessment,but significant distance still exist in universe applications.[Limitations]Results are based on the latest ISSI conference and have reflected the frontier but could be not systematic enough.
