The Current Situation of“Chinese Cultural Aphasia”in College English Education

高校英语教育中文化失语问题严重,学生常无法将英语表述与中国文化有效结合,甚至中国文化知识基础薄弱,造成学习与应用之间的严重分化。解决中国文化失语教育问题不仅是促进新时代下高素质应用型人才培养的关键,更是实现对外交流中中国文化正确表达的基础,应从意识明确、教程优化、情境加强等方面形成恰当的策略,提升英语教育的有效性。

Chinese cultural aphasia is a serious problem in college English Education.Some students more often than not fail to effectively combine English expression with Chinese culture,which leads to a serious differentiation between learning and application.In the regard,solving the problem of Chinese cultural aphasia in education is not only the key to promote the cultivation of high-quality applied talents in the new era,but also the foundation to realize the correct expression of Chinese culture in international exchanges.This paper puts forward the appropriate strategies for promoting the effectiveness of college English as follows:clarifying consciousness,optimizing courses and strengthening the situations,etc.
