Objective:To explore the effect of four in one nutritional management model on the nutritional status and mouth opening function of nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients undergoing radiotherapy. Methods:From February 1,2018 to December 1,2019,86 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated by radiotherapy were divided into control group and observation group according to different nutrition intervention schemes with 43 patients in each group. The control group was given conventional nutrition intervention, and the observation group was given four-in-one nutrition management model on this basis.Nutritional status, acute radiation response score, immune function, and quality of life score were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention[(the MOS item short form health survey(SF-36)was used].Results:Nutritional status, immune function and SF-36 score in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.01).After 6 weeks of intervention, the acute radiation response score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion:The application of four in one nutritional management model in patients with nasopharyngeal cancer undergoing radiotherapy can effectively improve the nutritional status and mouth opening function of patients, reduce the damage to immune function, and thus enhance the curative effect and improve the quality of life.
