摘要
彩礼作为婚嫁习俗之一,其所引发的社会问题日益受到关注。本研究运用Python软件搜集了新浪微博中含有“彩礼”的博文,并利用该软件的词频统计功能对所搜集的汉语语料进行分析。本研究以第三人称女性指示语为切入点,以系统功能语法及物性系统为分析框架,揭示女性参与者在媒体话语中的表征与再情景化。研究结果表明,在媒体话语表征中,女性个体身份的缺失以及群体身份的凸显进一步加深了对女性的偏见与污名化,女性不仅被隐性物化为生育工具,而且被显性物化为可售卖的商品。此外,微博用户对部分媒体的片面评论直接进行挑战和对抗。“彩礼”媒体话语表征中的女性污名与女性正名折射出中国社会父权与平权的冲突。
As one of the marital rituals in China,the contentious issue of bride price(caili)have been widely discussed.This study collects posts containing the noun phrase“bride price”on Sina Microblog via Python and conducts a word-frequency analysis.Taking the female deixis as a starting point,this study investigates how female participants are represented and recontextualized under the analytical framework of Transitivity of Systemic-Functional Grammar.Results show that the absence of female individual identity and the presence of their collective identity demonstrate the prejudice and stigma towards women.Women are generalized and identified as fertility tools and exchangeable commodities.This patriarchal ideology that is constructed on some social media is also challenged and resisted by some micro-bloggers.The media discourse representation of bride price reflects the conflicts between patriarchy and feminism.
