Art Spiegelman's In the Shadow of No Tower is a graphic novel about 9/11.The unique combination of graphic and text in the book not only reproduces the terrible scene of the 9/11 terrorist attack,but also reveals a survivor's continuous trauma.Spiegelman was also aware of the hindrances to the traumatic narrative caused by the one-sided coverage of the news media after 9/11 and the purposeful propaganda of the U.S.government,and defeating it by using various visual images.
