Building “Inland International MICE City”, What Should Chongqing Do?

当前,重庆正在致力于开展"内陆国际会展名城"建设。本文从产业发展和外部政策环境两大方面,梳理重庆实现"内陆国际会展名城"目标的支撑基础。进而,基于会展国际化和产城融合两条逻辑,提出重庆建设"内陆国际会展名城"要着力营造国际化会展营商环境,培育国际化会展企业和专业人才,提升"重庆会展"全球影响力,深化会展产业与城市的协同发展。

Chongqing is trying to build "Inland International MICE City ". This paper combs the supporting foundation of Chongqing to achieve this goal, and finds out the short board and gap through horizontal comparison with other cities from the two aspects of the industrial development and external policy environment. Based on these approaches, following the two logic lines of "industry internationalization" and " industry-city integration ", the paper puts forward four suggestions for Chongqing, which are to create an international MICE business environment, to cultivate international local MICE enterprises and qualified workers, to enhance the global influence of "Chongqing MICE ", to deepen the collaborative development of MICE industry and city.
