The Changes in Social Stratum Structure From 2008 to 2019 in China and the Economic and Social Impact

近十余年来,我国经济社会发展进入一个新阶段,出现了一系列历史性转折和阶段性新特征,特别是社会阶层结构的持续深刻变化,对经济社会产生了广泛的影响。本文基于中国社会科学院社会学研究所的“中国社会状况综合调查”(CSS)2008—2019年的数据,选择就业和工作方式、劳动生产率、中等收入群体成长等几个学界和社会普遍关注的问题,分析社会阶层结构变化对这些方面的深刻影响,以期更清晰地理解我国社会未来面对的挑战和机遇。

In the past decade,China's economic and social development has entered a new stage with a se-ries of historie transitions and new periodic features.In particular,the continuous and profound changes in social stratum structure have produced a broad economic and social impact.This article,based on the data from 2008-2019 of the Comprehensive Survey of Social Conditions in China(CSS)by the Insti-tute of Sociology,Chinese Academy of Social Sciences,selects several issues that have gained wide con-cern from academia and society,like employment and ways of working,labor productivity,and growth of middle-income groups,analyzes the profound impact of changes in social stratum structure on these is-sues,expecting a clearer understanding of challenges and opportunities China will face in the future.
